Reviews and Ratings
This hotel is a gem for those traveling with their furry friends, making eco-conscious choices with locally sourced furnishings, all while offering stunning views from the room at a more affordable rate. The organization and window views reminded me of my favorite Lake District stays, with the added benefit of being budget-friendly. However, the location, although beautiful, seemed a bit worn down, especially near the motorway, and the restaurant lacked warmth. Despite these drawbacks, it provided a cozy stopover for our journey from Southampton to Scotland.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, and the food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. The hotel's location offers lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for a relaxing getaway. However, the dining prices were a bit on the higher side.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and boasted beautiful views across the fells and the waterfalls outside. However, there was a green security light that stayed on which couldn't be switched off. The service was efficient and friendly, ensuring my needs were met. The location was ideal, especially for a stopover during long journeys. The dining experience was a mixed bag but overall acceptable. The facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
